This job site is at Natick installation
of 3000 square foot subfloor via screw down and providing 6 milli
vapor barrier. Installation of 2300 square foot hardwood floor and
sanding.

The
sub floor was install with 6 milli vapor barrier and then screw
down with tapcon. and then a 15 lb black paper was place on top
of the subfloor to provide an extra layer of vapor barrier! |
All
of this was provide at a very very low cost vs. powder-actuated
and glue. The material had save the homeowner about $2000 for a
3000 square foot job. |

Note:
Effect of not having a vapor barrier install!
Moisture will pass through the building envelope by diffusion.
Humid air may pass through surfaces and cause condensation where
it reaches the dew point, often within the insulation or at the
inside of the outer wall surface.
This
can cause rotting of wood members, mold and fungus growth, and peeling
or lifting of exterior paint.
